The UFC returns to Canada this weekend with a Fight Night card that features some big names and match-ups for their respective divisions.

A bout between top five flyweights will headline Rogers Place in Edmonton on Saturday night as former champion Brandon Moreno meets Amir Albazi.

The #3-ranked Albazi is undefeated since signing with the UFC and has amassed an overall record of 17-1.

Following his split decision win over Kai Kara-France in June of last year, he looks to add one more big name to his winning streak in order to secure a title shot.

The same stakes may not apply for Moreno but beating Albazi would see him bounce back from back-to-back losses in his recent outings.

In the co-main event, another top five flyweight match-up goes down on the women's side of the weight class with another former champion taking on one of the division's most exciting contenders.

25-year old Erin Blanchfield looks to bounce back from her first loss inside the Octagon against Manon Fiorot last time out when she takes on former two-time strawweight queen Rose Namajunas.

"Thug" Rose also lost to Fiorot when moving up to flyweight but now has consecutive wins under her belt over Amanda Ribas and Tracy Cortez.

Elsewhere on the main card, "The Black Beast" returns as Derrick Lewis takes on the undefeated Jhonata Diniz.

Canadian representation comes from Marc-Andre Barriault and Mike Malott who face Dustin Stoltzfus and Trevin Giles.

There's three big fights for Canadians on the prelims also with Aiemann Zahabi vs Pedro Munhoz being in the featured prelims spot.

Ariane Lipski vs Jasmine Jasudavicius and Charles Jourdain vs Victor Henry should also deliver entertaining watches, not just due to the home crowd support.

Also on the prelims, Wales' Jack Shore is back in action at featherweight when he faces Youssef Zalal in a great fight that has gone slightly under the radar.
