Q. I work full-time and race to the gym for training after work. Any tips to reload during my commute from the office?

A. Let’s first ensure you have eaten properly all day. This is key. Next, if you only have 30 minutes before training, you’ll want something that digests fast. I’d suggest a grass-fed whey protein isolate to get that amino acid boost plus a whole banana for a nice sugar burst. This is an excellent pre-workout solution that will give you energy to push your training, but won’t sit in your stomach.


Q. I love frozen desserts but I know ice cream isn’t good for me. Are there any frozen treats I can enjoy?

A. Yes! This will sounds extremely simple but it’s so delicious. Get a big bag of red grapes, wash them as you normally would and allow them to dry. Pack them in freezer bags and throw them in your icebox. Any time you have the urge, tear open a bag and enjoy. They are cold, crunchy and very sweet. A great snack when you’re winding down at night in front of the TV.

A. Hard work, dedication and a great team and family around me, supporting me every step of the way. Recognition from the fans as well as the industry makes it all worthwhile.
