KSW’s stadium super-show, KSW Colosseum 2, has bolstered its fight card with the addition of three championship bouts as the Polish promotion stacks the deck for June 3.
Headlining the event is the already-announced trilogy clash between former middleweight champions Mamed Khalidov and Scott Askham, while heavyweight icon and five-time World’s Stongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski takes on former WBC heavyweight title contender Artur Szpilka.
Those two matchups have now been joined by a trio of championship bouts, with the lightweight, middleweight and bantamweight belts set to be contested..
The undisputed 155-pound title will feature in the night’s co-main event, as reigning champ Marian Ziolkowski takes on interim champion Salahdine Parnasse in a lightweight championship unification bout.
The pair were set to face off at KSW 76, with featherweight king Parnasse set to step up to challenge Ziolkowski only for injury to nix the out when Ziolkowski was forced off the card.
Parnasse subsequently captured the interim title and now the pair will meet to unify the 155-pound belts in Warsaw.
The vacant middleweight title will find a new owner on June 3, as top contenders Pawel Pawlak and Tomasz Romanowski face off for the 185-pound strap, while bantamweight champion Jakub Wiklacz will put his newly-won 135-pound title on the line for the first time when he takes on Brazilian challenger Werlleson Martins.
