Undefeated lightweight star Alibeg Rasulov plans to take full advantage of the opportunity in front of him in his upcoming ONE Championship outing, and he promises reigning divisional king Christian Lee a rough night at the office.

The 14-0 standout challenges Lee for the ONE Lightweight MMA World Championship in the main event of ONE Fight Night 26 on Saturday, 7th December, inside Bangkok, Thailand’s Lumpinee Stadium.

Rasulov has accumulated 10 stoppages across his blistering professional run. While he wasn’t able to get the finish in his debut at ONE Fight Night 23 this past July, he outsmarted former lightweight ruler Ok Rae Yoon across five rounds to earn a World Title opportunity.

So when he steps in the ring in December, it’s not about securing another finish for him. Instead, he intends to keep his unblemished record intact and become World Champion in dominant fashion.

“I have a zero-loss record, and losing is not in my plans,” Rasulov asserted.

Reigning lightweight king Lee hasn’t been active in ONE Championship for nearly two years. But he has seen off a laundry list of impressive opponents over his nine-year promotional tenure and scored 16 finishes in the world’s largest martial arts organization.

That slate doesn’t seem to bother Rasulov, though, as he believes “The Warrior” has never met a competitor of his calibre.

The Dagestan-born, Turkish-raised star has used his ground game to overpower many of his foes, and he predicts it will cause Lee major problems when they collide at ONE Fight Night 26.

“I think that Christian Lee has not yet met an opponent like me. My wrestling is better than his. I will force my wrestling on him. He has had a long layoff, and I think he will get tired more than me. I just have to force my game on him,” Rasulov said.

“Of course, I’m aiming for that belt, and he’s going to have a really hard time in this fight.”
