Most MMA promotions are beginning to wrap up 2024 with their final events of the year and Invicta FC is no different.

On Friday, December 13 at The Eastern in Atlanta, Invicta 59 will air live on CBS Sport Network with a huge bantamweight title fight topping the bill.

Talita Bernardo has won five in a row since departing the UFC in 2019 with four of those wins, and three submission finishes, coming in Invicta.

After defeating Taneisha Tennant to become the 135-pound champion, she recorded a second round rear-naked choke finish over Olga Rubin this past June to tick off her first title defence.

Bernardo will now face her fellow Brazilian and an opponent that has held Invicta gold once before in former UFC title challenger Jennifer Maia.

The 36-year old has faced some of the top fighters in the world and having previously reigned as Invicta's flyweight champion before debuting in the Octagon, she recently made her return in August where a decision win over Mayra Cantuária put her right into title contention.

In the co-main event of the night, two top featherweights will collide when Riley Martinez looks to maintain her undefeated record against Jackie Cataline.

Cataline made her Invicta debut in August where she became the first woman to defeat Kelly Ottoni by finishing her in the third round to really make a statement.

With a record of 4-0, Martinez has finished all four of her pro wins in the very first round having opened her Invicta account in October last year where she stopped Julia Dorny with a rear-naked choke.
