The sixth episode of this season’s Dana White’s Contender Series took place at the UFC Apex on Tuesday night. Ten fighters got the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of UFC President Dana White in a bid to earn a seat at the top table of MMA.

The Big Winners From DWCS 82
At the end of the event, four fighters received UFC contracts from Dana White. Cody Chovanek’s third-round stoppage win over the highly rated Raphael Uchegbu was enough to earn him a deal, while Tommy Gantt’s first-round submission win over adam Livingston also saw him punch his ticket to the big leagues.
Iwo Baraniewski’s 20-second knockout finish in the co-main event saw him land a UFC contract, while Hecher Sosa – who outpointed Mackson Lee in the evening’s feature bout – was the only not to get a finish who managed to convince Dana White to offer him a deal.
