The Big Winners From DWCS 84
When the dust settled, UFC boss Dana White handed out four golden tickets. Damian Pinas, Louis Jourdain, Christopher Alvidrez, and Kurtis Campbell all earned contracts and a shot at the big stage.
The lone winner left empty-handed was Rashid Vagabov, a protégé of Khabib Nurmagomedov. Despite cruising to a unanimous decision, Vagabov didn’t win over White, who took issue with his mid-fight chatter, lack of urgency, and failure to finish an opponent he entered as a heavy 7-1 favorite against. Instead of a contract, Vagabov walked away with a public scolding, while his peers celebrated their call-ups.
