Jiří Procházka and Carlos Ulberg will fight for the vacant light heavyweight title in the main event of UFC 327 after Alex Pereira vacated the belt, the promotion announced.

With Pereira no longer in the picture at 205 pounds, Procházka and Ulberg will compete for the vacant title at Kaseya Center in Miami on April 11.

With Pereira out of the division, Procházka (32-5-1 MMA, 6-2 UFC) will make a third attempt to regain the title he relinquished in early 2023 due to injury. In his two previous attempts to reclaim the crown, the Czech standout fell short, losing to Pereira at UFC 295 and UFC 303.

Since that second loss to Pereira, Procházka has earned stoppage victories over Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr. to position himself for another opportunity to become a two-time champion.

Since losing to Kennedy Nzechukwu in his Octagon debut in 2021, Ulberg (13-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) has won nine consecutive fights to enter the title conversation at 205 pounds. He enjoyed a strong 2025 campaign, with victories over former champion Jan Błachowicz and former title challenger Dominick Reyes cementing his status as the next contender for the belt.
