Cage Warriors have announced the return of their highly exciting four man, one night tournaments.

The tournament format has proven to be a huge hit and with the promotion having a cohort of athletes signed on both sides of the Atlantic and around Europe, fans could see some extremely intriguing match ups.

President Graham Boylan took to social media to announce the return tournaments. He said:

"We are bringing back, one night, one winner, 50 grand cheque.

"Four prize fighter tournaments will happen in 2024. It is going to be a tournament where the winner will receive $50,000.

"They will be across four divisions. There will be semi-finals and a final.

"Managers, coaches, fighters, it doesn't matter where you are from, it doesn't matter what your record is, we want to hear from you.

Not only will the return of the one night tournament and the $50,000 prize appeal to many an athlete across the globe, Boylan also announced that Cage Warriors will also be bringing back the Bounty Hunt bonuses. If a fighter can correctly predict their path to victory and which round it will come in, they will add an extra $10k onto their pay-cheque.

"We will be returning with bounty hunt bonuses. You will name a finish and a round, you hit that, you get $10k." Boylan said.

More information on the weight divisions and locations of the tournaments have not been revealed at the time of writing.

The tournaments has previously shown to create starts, with the likes of Jack Cartwright entering the Bantamweight tournament at Cage Warriors Unplugged 2 in 2019, as a relative outsider, and claiming Cage Warriors Bantamweight gold with two first round finishes.

It is unclear as to exactly when the tournament's will take place but with shows now in place up until June 7, with the promotion heading to Manchester, London Dublin, Glasgow, Newcastle and San Diego, it is likely that the tournaments will happen in the latter part of 2024.

Cage Warriors 167 and Cage Warriors 168 both go down this week. The 'Unplugged' event, set for Friday night, will see the return of former Welterweight champion Stefano Paterno. He will face the hard hitting Scottie Stockman in the main event.

Saturday night's Cage Warriors 168 features two big title fights as Matty Byfield and Andy Clamp battle it out for the vacant Light Heavyweight title and Liam Gittins looks to make his first title defence against Roberto Hernandez.
