The Professional Fighters League (PFL) will bring its 2025 season to a conclusion in Hollywood, Florida, with the highly anticipated PFL World Championship Finals. The event takes place Thursday, August 21, at the iconic Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where champions in the Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and Heavyweight divisions will be crowned.
The event promises top-tier competition and major stakes, as finalists battle for championship gold and a cut of the PFL’s massive $20 million prize pool.
Headlining the event is a clash for the middleweight title between England’s Fabian Edwards (15-4), who is chasing his first PFL championship, and local standout Dalton “Hercules” Rosta (11-1), a South Florida native aiming to seize glory on home turf. With both fighters known for their explosive styles, this matchup has all the makings of a classic.
In the co-main event, submission specialist and former PFL Light Heavyweight champ Antonio Carlos Jr. (18-6) returns to the SmartCage to face up-and-coming powerhouse Sullivan Cauley (8-1). Both men are elite grapplers, and their five-round showdown will determine who reigns supreme in the division.
Rounding out the main card are two high-profile showcase bouts. Featherweight rising star Alexei Pregande (6-0) looks to extend his unbeaten streak against the experienced Ethan Goss (12-7), while the bantamweight division features a rare matchup of unbeatens as Bryce Meredith (7-0) faces Lazard Dayron (8-0-1).
The early card kicks off with the final bout of the PFL’s 2025 Heavyweight bracket, where Moldova’s Alexandr Romanov (19-3, 1 NC) squares off against Russia’s Oleg Popov (21-2) in a battle of heavy-hitting contenders. Several additional prelim bouts, featuring fighters from the South Florida region, will round out the card.
