The 2025 PFL World Championship Finals rolled into Charlotte’s Bojangles Coliseum, where three fighters walked away with tournament crowns in the Lightweight, Bantamweight, and Women’s Flyweight divisions.

Lightweight Final

In the headliner, 2024 champion Gadzhi Rabadanov (26-5-2) squared off with London Shootfighters product Alfie Davis (20-5-1). The matchup delivered on all fronts, with technical striking, relentless pressure, and high-level grappling on display. Davis relied on his unorthodox stand-up to keep Rabadanov at bay, while the Russian pushed forward hunting takedowns. The opening round proved pivotal, as the judges ultimately scored the razor-thin contest 48-47 across the board. When the dust settled, it was “The Axe Man” Davis who had his hand raised, securing the 2025 PFL Lightweight World Tournament title.

Women’s Flyweight Final

In the co-main event, former Bellator champion Liz Carmouche (25-8) met elite jiu-jitsu ace Jena Bishop (9-3). Carmouche edged the opening round with crisp striking before Bishop nearly stole the fight in the second, locking in a deep submission that forced the veteran to grit her way out. But in the third, “Girl-Rilla” showed her trademark toughness, dropping Bishop with a crushing left hook and finishing the job with ground-and-pound to become the 2025 PFL Women’s Flyweight World Champion.

Bantamweight Final

The bantamweight finale saw striker Marcirley Alves (15-4) clash with grappler Justin Wetzell (12-3). Early on, Alves stuffed takedown attempts while punishing Wetzell with heavy counters. The American responded with relentless calf kicks that slowed Alves’ movement and even landed a thunderous slam late in the fight. But Alves stole momentum with a surprising takedown of his own and did just enough to edge the scorecards, claiming the tournament title along with the $500,000 prize.
