Former ONE World Champions Aung La N Sang and Zebaztian Kadestam will face off in a middleweight bout at ONE Fight Night 36: Prajanchai vs. Di Bella II on Friday, October 3, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Aung La N Sang enters seeking to rebound from consecutive losses at ONE 171 earlier this year, where he hinted at potential retirement following the defeat.

The 40-year-old Myanmar fighter previously held both the middleweight and light heavyweight titles in ONE Championship. Before his recent struggles, Aung La N Sang compiled three straight stoppage victories over Yushin Okami, Gilberto Galvao, and Fan Rong.

The former two-division ONE MMA World Champion has recorded 15 victories in the promotion and remains known for his aggressive finishing ability.

Kadestam will make his middleweight debut riding a three-fight winning streak that includes impressive victories over high-level competition.

The 34-year-old former welterweight champion began his current run with a first-round finish of Valmir da Silva, followed by a 57-second knockout of the late Iuri Lapicus at ONE Fight Night 1.

Kadestam's most notable recent victory came against Roberto Soldic, whom he stopped in the second round at ONE Fight Night 10. The Swedish striker was originally scheduled to face Isi Fitikefu earlier this year but was forced to withdraw after missing weight and failing medical clearance.

The matchup represents a significant test for both fighters at different stages of their careers. Aung La N Sang seeks to prove he still belongs among elite competition, while Kadestam looks to establish himself at middleweight after dominating welterweight competition.

Both fighters bring proven finishing ability and elite championship experience to their encounter. Aung La N Sang's power and well-rounded skills will be tested against Kadestam's striking precision and recent momentum.

For Kadestam, the move to middleweight provides an opportunity to continue his winning streak against one of ONE Championship's most respected veterans.

The former champions' clash adds significant depth to the ONE Fight Night 36 card featuring multiple high-level contests.
