The opening episode of Season 10 of the Contender Series delivered a bit of everything, featuring a pair of emphatic knockouts alongside several bouts that struggled to generate much excitement.

Flyweight prospect Bilal Hasan entered Tuesday’s card as the biggest betting favorite in the show’s history at -5000, and he quickly demonstrated why he was considered a fighter to watch. Hasan scored a lightning-fast knockout to make a statement. Heavyweight Anthony Wint also produced an explosive finish, stopping Matt Adams before the opening minute was complete after reversing a takedown and unleashing a barrage of punches.

By the end of the night, UFC CEO Dana White had awarded four fighters UFC contracts: Joseph Kropschot, Thomas Pagliarulo, Bilal Hasan, and Anthony Wint.
